What this product is

This is a six-pack of Panasonic CR2032/HFN 3 V lithium coin cells fitted with horizontal PC pins. The cells measure 20 mm in diameter by 3.2 mm in height and are supplied new in bulk.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Engineers and hobbyists building or repairing PCB-mounted equipment that requires a horizontal pin termination will find these a direct fit. Buyers who need a coin cell without pins, a vertical pin orientation, or a different diameter will not be able to use these cells.

The specification that decides fit

The critical parameter is the termination style: horizontal PC pins on a CR2032 footprint. If the board layout calls for through-hole pins in that orientation, this pack matches; otherwise a different termination must be sourced.

Questions about this item

How long will these CR2032/HFN cells hold their charge in storage?

Panasonic rates the shelf life at up to 10 years when stored correctly.

Do the horizontal-mount pins on these batteries get hot during continuous use?

The lithium chemistry and 3 V output are designed for low-drain applications, so heat build-up is minimal in normal operation.

What board footprint do I need for the 20 mm × 3.2 mm pin spacing?

The pins are spaced for standard horizontal-mount CR2032 footprints with 20 mm diameter and 3.2 mm height clearance.
