Compact foil shaver for daily grooming

The Panasonic ES3831K is a lightweight foil shaver built for men who want a simple cordless tool for everyday use. Its 8500 rpm motor drives a single precision-honed blade set at a 78-degree angle inside a floating head. The ultra-thin stainless steel foil follows facial contours for a close shave. Weighing 5.4 ounces, it fits easily in a gym bag or travel kit.

Battery life and washable design

A full charge delivers 90 minutes of shaving time and holds power for up to 30 days between charges. The shaver is fully immersible in water, so it can be used wet with gel or dry, then rinsed clean under the tap. No wet-dry charging dock is included, so the unit is powered directly by its internal battery. The sealed body prevents water ingress during cleaning.

Included accessories and replacement parts

The package supplies appliance-replacement-parts to maintain cutting performance over time. No travel pouch, cleaning brush or charging stand is listed in the contents. The ergonomic grip is moulded into the body, so there are no detachable handle pieces to lose. Replacement foils and cutters can be swapped without tools when the original parts wear out.

Questions about this item

How do I install the foil and blade on the ES3831K, and what step do people often miss?

The foil and blade snap into the floating head at a 78-degree angle; the step people miss is aligning the blade notch with the motor pin before pressing the foil cover down until it clicks.

What part will need replacement after extended use on the ES3831K?

The precision-honed stainless steel foil and single blade are the wear items; Panasonic recommends replacing both together once cutting performance drops.

What limit appears first during a long shaving session with the ES3831K?

The 8500 rpm motor can heat the foil after continuous use, so the shaver may feel warm on the skin before the 90-minute battery runs out.
