Desk Dock for TOUGHBOOK G2

The Panasonic FZ-VEBG21U is a desktop docking station built for the TOUGHBOOK G2 tablet. It adds four USB-A ports, two HDMI outputs, a serial port and wired Ethernet so the tablet can drive a full workstation setup. The unit suits field-service crews, warehouse staff and mobile offices that need a single cable drop to monitors, peripherals and a network.

Black Chassis with Kensington Lock

The black enclosure measures 12.20" x 6.70" x 9.10" and weighs 3.40 lbs, giving it a stable footprint on a bench or vehicle mount. A Kensington lock slot lets you secure the dock against theft in shared or public spaces. All I/O faces the rear, keeping cables tidy and the tablet insertion point clear for quick one-handed docking.

Passive Cooling, No Adapter Included

The dock relies on passive thermal dissipation and has no internal fan, so it adds no audible noise to a quiet office or cab. Power delivery to the tablet and peripherals depends on the TOUGHBOOK G2's own AC adapter, which is not supplied with the dock. Users must provide a compatible charger to run the full port load.

Questions about this item

What space and weight should I plan for the FZ-VEBG21U on my desk?

The unit measures 12.20 inches wide, 6.70 inches deep and 9.10 inches high, and weighs 3.40 lbs.

How do I power the FZ-VEBG21U and what step is often missed?

An AC adapter is not included, so you must supply a compatible Panasonic power brick; forgetting to connect it is the common mistake.
