  • Weather-sealed metal body resists dust and splashes in tough conditions

Wide-Angle Prime for Micro Four Thirds

The Leica DG Summilux 12mm f/1.4 delivers a 24mm equivalent field of view with a bright f/1.4 aperture. It suits photographers and videographers who need low-light capability and shallow depth of field on Micro Four Thirds bodies. The bundled filters, pouch, cleaning kit, cap keeper, caps and hood add immediate protection and creative control.

Straightforward Mount with Weather Sealing

The lens mounts natively to any Micro Four Thirds camera without adapters. Its metal barrel features splash- and dust-resistant construction when paired with compatible Lumix bodies. The only common issue is forgetting to engage the AF/MF switch or aperture ring lock, which can disable autofocus or change exposure unintentionally.

Consistent Output During Extended Sessions

The optical formula uses two aspherical, two ultra extra-low dispersion and one extra-low dispersion element to maintain edge-to-edge sharpness and colour fidelity under sustained use. Near-silent autofocus and the manual aperture ring allow smooth transitions during long video takes. The robust metal build resists thermal expansion that can shift focus on lighter plastic barrels.
