Portrait Prime for Micro Four Thirds

The Panasonic Leica DG Nocticron 42.5 mm f/1.2 lens is built for Micro Four Thirds cameras. It delivers an 85 mm equivalent field of view that suits portrait photographers and low-light shooters who want shallow depth of field and creamy bokeh from a bright f/1.2 aperture.

Bright Aperture With Stabilisation

The f/1.2 maximum aperture provides strong low-light headroom and subject separation across nine rounded blades. Optical Image Stabilisation steadies handheld shots at slower shutter speeds. Close focus reaches 1.64 ft for tighter framing, though the fixed 42.5 mm focal length offers no zoom flexibility for wider scenes.

Bundle Adds Filters and Control Grips

The package includes 67 mm filter kits, a Flex Lens Shade, cleaning supplies and PC software. FocusShifter Pro grips attach to the barrel for finer manual focus and zoom control. A metal hood is also supplied. Buyers needing autofocus on non-MFT systems or a wider-angle perspective should look elsewhere.
