Wide 24 mm f/1.8 L-mount lens bundle

This Panasonic Lumix S lens covers a 24 mm focal length with a bright f/1.8 maximum aperture on L-mount cameras. The bundle adds a 67 mm filter kit, pouch, cleaning supplies, lens-cap tether and PC software so the lens is ready for immediate use.

Optical construction for sustained quality

Twelve elements in eleven groups include three aspherical lenses, three ED lenses and one UED lens that work together to suppress chromatic aberration and minimise distortions during extended shooting sessions. Consistent control-ring placement across the F1.8 series allows quick lens changes on a gimbal without rebalancing.

24 mm focal length decides the fit

The fixed 24 mm wide-angle perspective suits landscapes, street scenes and astrophotography, while the nine-blade aperture produces smooth circular bokeh for subject isolation. Buyers needing a longer focal length or a zoom range should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 24mm f/1.8 lens generate during all-day shooting?

The lens has no active electronics that produce heat; its metal barrel simply warms to ambient temperature during extended use.

What camera body must I already own to use this L-mount lens?

Any full-frame or APS-C camera with the L-mount bayonet — Panasonic S series, Sigma fp or Leica SL — will accept the lens directly.

Will my existing 67mm circular polariser thread onto the front of this lens?

Yes, the front filter thread is 67mm, so the polariser you already own screws on without an adapter ring.
