Panasonic LUMIX S 85mm f/1.8 L-Mount Lens with 67mm Filter Kit, Software & Cleaning Kit

Portrait Prime for L-Mount

The Panasonic LUMIX S 85mm f/1.8 is a medium-telephoto fixed focal length lens built for L-mount mirrorless cameras. Its wide f/1.8 aperture produces smooth defocus gradation and round bokeh from point light sources without vignetting. The optical design uses nine elements in eight groups, including two ED lenses to suppress axial and magnification chromatic aberration. It suits photographers and videographers who want a lightweight portrait lens for full-frame systems.

Aperture Headroom and Breathing Control

At f/1.8 the lens gathers ample light for shallow depth of field and low-light work, while the focus-breathing suppression keeps framing stable during video pulls. Stopping down increases depth of field for group shots, though the fixed 85mm focal length offers no zoom flexibility. The 67mm filter thread accepts the included ProOptic essentials kit for protection and creative effects. Shooters needing wider angles or telephoto reach must look elsewhere.

L-Mount Compatibility Decides Fit

This lens mounts natively on any L-mount camera body, covering full-frame sensors without vignetting. The bundle adds Corel Photo Video Art Suite software and a cleaning kit for immediate workflow support. Buyers using other lens mounts cannot attach this optic without an adapter, which is not included. Confirm your camera uses the L-mount before purchasing.
