Panasonic Lumix S5 Full-Frame Kit

This kit centers on the Panasonic Lumix S5 mirrorless camera with a 24.2MP full-frame CMOS sensor. It is aimed at photographers and videographers who want a portable body that delivers UHD 4K60 10-bit internal recording and a 14+-stop dynamic range. The bundle adds a 64GB SanDisk Extreme PRO card, soft bag and numerous accessories for immediate use. The 225-area DFD autofocus and 5-axis stabilization suit varied shooting styles.

Bundle Accessories Expand Shooting Options

The included 12-inch flexible tripod, LED light and hand strap support handheld or tabletop work in tight spaces. A memory card reader speeds up offloads while the card wallet and lens cap keeper protect small items. Corel software suite adds PhotoMirage, AfterShot, Painter Essentials, PaintShop Pro and Video Studio for editing and creative effects. Cleaning kit and HDMI cable round out the workflow.

Check Lens Mount and Power Needs First

The camera body uses the L-mount system, so any lenses you already own must match that mount or require an adapter. Battery life relies on the supplied 7.2V 2200mAh DMW-BLK22 cell and its charger; extended sessions may need spare batteries. Verify that your computer can handle 10-bit 4K files and that you have storage capacity beyond the bundled 64GB card. The soft bag offers basic protection but is not a hard case for heavy travel.

Questions about this item

How often will the 7.2V 2200mAh DMW-BLK22 battery need recharging during a full day of 4K60 10-bit recording?

The 2200mAh capacity supports extended 4K60 10-bit sessions; carry a spare DMW-BLK22 for uninterrupted all-day shooting since continuous recording draws more power than stills.

What stops the 24.2MP sensor from sustaining 4K60 10-bit capture indefinitely?

Heat buildup from the 10-bit 4K60 pipeline is the first limit; the camera will pause to protect the 24.2MP sensor and processing electronics during very long takes.

How loud is the cooling fan when the 225-area DFD autofocus runs continuously in video mode?

The S5 uses a quiet fan that spins up only when the 24.2MP sensor temperature rises during prolonged 4K60 10-bit recording; it stays near-silent for shorter clips.
