Compact full-frame kit

The Panasonic Lumix S9 mirrorless camera kit pairs a 24.2MP full-frame sensor with a versatile 20-60mm f/3.5-5.6 L-mount lens in a lightweight silver body. It is built for content creators and travellers who need professional image quality without the bulk of traditional systems. The kit includes two 64GB memory cards and USB-C accessories for immediate shooting.

L-mount ecosystem ready

The camera accepts over 80 L-mount lenses, letting you expand from the included zoom to primes, telephotos or specialist optics as your work evolves. USB-C connectivity and the Lumix Lab app handle rapid file transfer to a smartphone, removing the need for a laptop in the field. MP4Lite recording keeps video files small for fast mobile uploads.

24.2MP sensor headroom

The 24.2MP full-frame sensor delivers clean low-light stills and enough resolution for large prints or generous cropping. Real-Time LUT preview and 30 fps pre-burst capture reduce post-processing time for high-volume creators. The variable-aperture kit lens reaches 60mm at f/5.6, so distant wildlife or tight indoor spaces may demand faster or longer glass.

Questions about this item

How long can I shoot continuously before the 24.2MP sensor overheats?

The 24.2MP full-frame sensor has no published thermal cut-off time; heat limits depend on ambient temperature, video codec and recording duration.

How loud is the camera and how hot does it get during all-day use?

The compact body runs silently for stills; during extended video the fan stays quiet and the grip warms slightly but remains comfortable to hold.

Do I need an L-mount lens to start shooting with this kit?

The included 20-60mm f/3.5-5.6 L-mount lens is attached, so you can shoot immediately; 80 other L-mount lenses are available if you want more reach.
