Fully-rugged 10.1" Windows tablet

The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-G1 is a fully-rugged Windows tablet built for field workers who need a durable device in harsh environments. It meets MIL-STD-810G and IP65 standards for drops, vibration, dust, and water exposure. The magnesium alloy chassis with elastomer corner guards protects internal components. A 10.1" WUXGA 1920 x 1200 daylight-readable screen supports 10-point multi-touch and digitizer input.

Simple peripheral setup with one USB port

The tablet arrives ready to run Windows 10 Pro with no internal assembly required. A single USB 3.0 port handles external drives or accessories, while a 24-pin docking connector supports desktop expansion. HDMI Type A output connects to external displays. Users should note the lone USB port may require a hub when multiple peripherals are needed simultaneously.

Verify 4G LTE bands and fixed 8GB memory

Confirm that the integrated 4G LTE module supports the frequency bands used by your carrier before deployment. The system memory is capped at 8 GB with no upgrade path, so ensure this capacity fits your workload. Storage is provided by a 512 GB SSD with no secondary drive bay available. Check that Windows 10 Pro meets your software compatibility requirements.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the Intel Core i5-4310U is running at its 3.0 GHz Turbo Boost after setup?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab and watch the CPU frequency while running a demanding task; it should climb from the 2.0 GHz base toward 3.0 GHz when thermal headroom allows.

Which accessories ship in the box and which must be purchased separately for the Toughpad FZ-G1?

The tablet itself, its integrated stylus and the AC adapter are included; the 24-pin docking cradle, vehicle mounts, spare batteries and external keyboard are sold as optional accessories.

Should I choose the 512 GB SSD version or is a larger capacity available for this model?

This unit is configured with a fixed 512 GB SSD; the platform does not support user-replaceable storage upgrades, so select this capacity if it meets your workload requirements.
