Fully Rugged 10.1" Tablet with Barcode Reader

The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-G1 MK3 is a fully rugged tablet built to MIL-STD-810G and IP65 standards. It runs Windows 10 Pro 64-bit on an Intel Core i5-5300U processor with 8GB of memory and a 128GB SSD. Integrated 4G LTE and a barcode reader support mobile field workflows.

Windows 10 Pro Not Upgradeable to Windows 11

The operating system is locked to Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and cannot be upgraded to Windows 11. This constraint determines whether the device fits into environments that require the latest OS version or long-term vendor support.

Suited for Field Workers Needing Legacy OS

This tablet suits organisations that depend on Windows 10 applications and need a rugged device with a built-in barcode scanner. Buyers who require Windows 11 support or a newer processor generation should look at alternative rugged tablets.

Questions about this item

How does the 2.3 GHz Core i5-5300U perform in daily field work?

The dual-core processor reaches 2.9 GHz with Turbo Boost, giving enough speed for inventory apps, email and web forms on Windows 10 Pro.

What does the USB 3.0 port actually limit when I connect peripherals?

The single USB 3.0 port handles external drives, scanners or docks at up to 5 Gbps, but only one device at a time unless you add a hub.

Will the 10.1-inch chassis fit in our existing vehicle mount?

The fully rugged MIL-STD-810G and IP65 body uses the standard FZ-G1 footprint, so it matches current Panasonic vehicle docks and hand straps.
