Quick-disconnect crimp terminal for 10-12 AWG wires rated to 600 V with yellow nylon insulation and tin-plated brass contacts
These Panduit DNF10-250FIB-D connectors accept 10 to 12 AWG wires rated up to 600 V. The brass contacts carry a tin finish and use a butted seam crimp style. Yellow nylon insulation provides full coverage and meets a UL 94 HB flammability rating. They are supplied in a pack of 500 pieces.
The quick-disconnect socket fits a standard 0.25 in tab with 0.032 in thickness for a secure mating connection. Upgrade from taped splices when vibration resistance and repeatable disconnection are required. The CSA 22.2 No. 153 and UL 310 listings support compliance in fixed wiring installations. Not suited for wire gauges outside the 10-12 AWG range or for voltages exceeding 600 V.
Strip the conductor to the correct length and crimp the butted seam barrel using a calibrated tool for 10-12 AWG. Full nylon coverage reduces the chance of exposed conductor after termination. Verify the tab width and thickness match the 0.25 in by 0.032 in specification before mating. Incorrect crimp force or wrong wire size are the most common causes of failure.

The connector accepts tabs measuring .25 in wide by .032 in thick, matching standard .250 series disconnects. Crimp 10-12 AWG wire into the brass socket using a ratchet crimper for a secure joint.
Use a ratchet crimp tool sized for 10-12 AWG butted-seam terminals. Insert stripped wire fully, cycle the tool completely, then tug-test; the nylon insulation and tin-plated brass contact meet UL 310 and CSA 22.2 No. 153.
Inspect at each major service interval for cracked nylon, discoloured tin plating, or loose crimps. Replace any connector showing heat damage above 221 °F or vibration-induced terminal fretting.
