Product identity

Panduit GES99F-A-C is a solid grommet edging supplied in a 100 ft roll for protecting cable bundles passing through panel cut-outs. The natural polyethylene strip covers panel thicknesses from 0.06 in to 0.09 in and includes an adhesive lining for secure placement.

Installation check

Verify that the panel thickness falls within the 0.06 in to 0.09 in range before ordering. Confirm the cut-out width suits the edging depth of 0.19 in and width of 0.17 in, and ensure the mounting surface is clean for the adhesive liner to bond correctly.

Thermal and power profile

The polyethylene material carries a temperature rating from -40 °F to 122 °F, so it remains stable in typical automotive and industrial environments. No power is drawn by the edging itself, and the solid construction adds no audible noise during normal use.

Questions about this item

What comes in the package and do I need adhesive or tools to install it?

The package contains one 100 ft roll of solid polyethylene grommet edging with an adhesive lining already applied, so no separate adhesive is required.

The specs list max panel thickness 0.09 in and min 0.06 in — which one should I match to my panel?

Choose this edging if your panel thickness falls between 0.06 in and 0.09 in; panels outside that range will not seat correctly.

The temperature rating runs from -40 °F to 122 °F — what does that mean for a cable run inside a vehicle engine bay?

The material stays flexible down to -40 °F and will not soften until above 122 °F, so it survives typical under-hood temperatures but is not rated for sustained exposure beyond 122 °F.
