Maroon Nylon Hook-and-Loop Cable Tie

This maroon nylon hook-and-loop cable tie measures 8 in long and 0.5 in wide. It uses a wrap-with-slot closure for tool-free bundling. The material is rated for temperatures from 0 to 122 Degrees F. A pack contains ten individual ties.

Installers managing plenum-rated cable runs

The ties suit technicians securing cables in air-handling spaces where plenum rating is required. They are not suited for users needing flame-retardant material or mounting holes for fixed installation. Buyers wanting marked ties for identification should look elsewhere.

40 lb tensile strength with 1.91 in bundle diameter

The tie holds bundles up to 1.91 in diameter at a rated tensile strength of 40 lb. This single limit decides whether the tie can secure your specific cable bundle. Exceeding either figure risks failure.

Questions about this item

Will the 0.5 in wide tie fit around a 1.91 in diameter cable bundle?

Yes, the maximum bundle diameter is 1.91 in, so the 8 in length and 0.5 in width accommodate bundles up to that size.

How do I use the wrap-with-slot closure correctly?

Wrap the tie around the cables, feed the pointed end through the slot on the head, pull tight, and press the hook-and-loop surfaces together to secure.

When should I replace these nylon ties in a 122 °F environment?

Replace ties if the hook-and-loop grip weakens, the nylon shows cracking or discoloration, or after prolonged exposure at the 122 °F maximum temperature rating.
