Hook-and-loop cable ties secure bundles up to 3.18 inches with 40-pound tensile strength
These red hook-and-loop ties organise audio and video cables in racks, behind displays or along trunking. Each 12 in strap wraps bundles up to 3.18 in diameter and secures with a slot closure. The 10-pack suits installers who need repeatable, colour-coded bundling without permanent fasteners.
Rated for continuous use from 0 to 122 degrees F, the nylon material carries a UL 94V-2 flammability rating and meets RoHS requirements. No flame-retardant additive is specified. The ties add negligible thermal mass and produce no audible noise during operation.
At 0.5 in wide and 0.1 in thick, the straps fit through standard cable-manager fingers and ladder rungs. They are not mountable, so they rely on the bundle itself for retention. Tensile strength of 40 lb supports typical A/V loom weights but excludes structural or load-bearing applications.
Measured against everything we stock in AV Accessories & Components, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

Thread the pointed end through the slot on the strap, pull it tight around the bundle up to 3.18 in diameter, then press the hook side onto the loop side to secure the 40 lb tensile strength hold.
Inspect each 0.5 in wide tie for hook wear, loop matting or nylon brittleness after repeated cycles; replace any tie that no longer holds the rated 40 lb strength.
Continuous exposure above the 122 °F maximum temperature rating causes the nylon to soften and lose the 40 lb tensile strength before any other limit appears.
