Nylon-insulated copper ring terminal accepts 12 to 10 AWG wire, fits a 1/4 inch stud, and meets UL 486A and CSA C 22.2 No. 65 standards
This 1/4 inch stud ring terminal accepts 12 to 10 AWG copper wire and is sold in a pack of 50. It suits electricians and installers terminating building wire in panels, junction boxes or automotive looms where a secure bolted connection is required.
The nylon insulation carries a UL 94 HB flammability rating and is rated for 600 volts maximum at 221 degrees Fahrenheit. Partial insulation coverage means the barrel remains exposed for crimping, so the installer must ensure the crimp tool matches the 12-10 AWG range and that no live conductor extends beyond the terminal after termination.
The tin-plated copper barrel features an insulation-grip design that clamps the wire jacket as well as the conductor, reducing strain on the crimp joint. A 0.52 inch tongue width fits a 1/4 inch stud cleanly, and compliance with UL 486A, UL 486B and CSA C22.2 No. 65 confirms the terminal meets recognised North American safety standards for field wiring.
