Vertical Cable Manager 6 in 45 RU

The Panduit PR2VD06 is a 45 RU vertical cable manager designed for high-density network racks. Its dual-sided steel backbone with moulded ABS fingers supports large cable bundles on both faces. Two full-length push-to-close doors conceal and protect the routing. The unit arrives fully pre-assembled for immediate installation.

6-Inch Width Frees Floor Space

At 6 inches wide the manager fits standard 45 RU frames without demanding extra aisle clearance. The dual-hinging doors swing either way so technicians can access cables from the front or rear. Pre-assembled construction removes the need for on-site assembly hardware or tools. Molded fingers retain cables through moves, adds and changes.

Suits High-Density Data Centres

This manager suits operators running dense patching fields who need zero-assembly deployment and dual-sided access. Buyers requiring a narrower profile or a single-sided design should evaluate other options. Installers without a compatible 45 RU rack will need a different height.

Questions about this item

How much vertical rack space does the 45 RU manager occupy?

The unit is 45 rack units tall, measuring 83.88 inches in height.

How much heat does the steel and ABS construction add when cables fill the 6-inch wide channels all day?

The manager is passive with no fans or power draw, so it adds no heat beyond the cables themselves.

What rack hardware must be in place before the manager can be bolted up?

Mounting requires a rack or cabinet with vertical rails that accept the manager’s bolt pattern; the unit ships fully assembled with dual-hinging push-to-close doors.
