  • 25-piece pack supports multiple wiring jobs

8 AWG Ring Terminals for Crimp Connections

These bare copper terminals accept 8 AWG wire and fit a 3/8 in stud. The brazed seam and 1.250 in overall length suit panel work and heavy-duty automotive grounding. A pack of 25 supports multiple termination points in a single job.

2 000 V Rating and 302 °F Limit

UL486A-486B and CSA C 22.2 No. 65 listings cover the 2 000 V maximum and 302 Degrees F temperature ceiling. The bare finish leaves the conductor exposed, so insulation and clearance must be provided by the installer. No colour coding is present to identify polarity or circuit.

Crimp-Only Installation with Proper Tooling

A controlled-cycle crimp tool matched to 8 AWG is required; pliers or hammer-style crimpers usually produce high-resistance joints. The 0.59 in tongue width fits standard 3/8 in hardware but leaves no room for a lock washer unless the stud is long enough. Verify stud length before terminating.

Questions about this item

How do I decide between the 25-pack and other package sizes?

The listing shows a single package of 25 terminals. No other quantities are offered for this part.

What does the 2,000 V rating mean when I crimp this on 8 AWG wire?

It means the terminal is tested to withstand up to 2,000 volts on an 8 AWG copper conductor when properly crimped.

Which standard governs the 3/8 in stud size and copper crimp connection?

The terminal meets CSA C22.2 No. 65 and UL 486A-486B for the 3/8 in stud and copper crimp design.
