Cover for T-70 Raceway

This off-white PVC cover snaps onto Panduit T-70 series raceway to enclose cables in commercial and residential installations. It is sold new and matches the 96-inch length of the base channel. The piece works with base part numbers T702B, T70B and TG70B.

Snap-on fit and listed safety

The cover attaches by snapping onto the raceway base, requiring no tools for installation or removal. It carries UL listings 95425, E116129 and UL5A, plus CE compliance. The PVC material meets the listed standards for indoor cable protection.

Transitions to smaller profiles

The cover allows the T-70 raceway to transition to T-45 and LD profile systems without replacing the entire run. It frees installers from cutting custom blanks when the route changes size. Buyers needing a different colour or a non-snap retention method will need a separate cover type.

Questions about this item

How does the snap-on cover install on the T-70 raceway, and what step is often missed?

Align the cover with the raceway base and press firmly until the snap features engage along the full 96 in length; the step often missed is verifying continuous engagement at both ends.

What maintenance or replacement will the PVC cover need over time?

Inspect the off-white PVC for cracking, discoloration or loss of snap retention after impact or prolonged UV exposure; replace the cover if the tamper-resistant fit no longer holds securely.

What is the first limit reached when the cover is used in a continuously high-temperature environment?

The PVC material will reach its maximum continuous operating temperature before the UL 5A or UL 95425 ratings are exceeded, making thermal degradation the limiting factor.
