A shark-fin vehicle antenna combining GPS, 4G/5G cellular and dual-band Wi-Fi in a single panel-mount housing with optional VHF whip
The GPSB5G Sharkee combines GPS/GNSS, 4G/5G cellular and dual-band WiFi in a single sharkfin housing designed for vehicle roof mounting. It serves public safety, utilities and transport fleets that need reliable multi-technology coverage from one discreet installation. The antenna reduces the number of roof penetrations required compared to separate units.
An optional whip mounting point allows the addition of VHF or UHF whips for two-way radio communication without extra holes. The upgraded GPS/GNSS module includes advanced filtering to improve satellite reception in electrically noisy vehicle environments. These features extend the antenna’s utility across cellular, WiFi and land-mobile radio bands simultaneously.
Cellular performance is confined to the 698 to 960 MHz and 1710 to 3800 MHz ranges, so bands outside these limits are not supported. WiFi operation covers 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz only, excluding newer 6 GHz allocations. The fixed 1 dBi gain and 26 dB amplifier specification set the signal ceiling for all integrated elements.

The GPSB5G uses an improved GPS/GNSS module with advanced filtering designed for long-term operation in public safety and transportation fleets.
The cellular element covers 698-960 MHz and 1710-3800 MHz with a stated 26 dB gain; the lower sub-6 GHz band typically saturates before the higher band under sustained load.
The single-hole OEM housing is built for continuous duty in vehicle roofs; no abnormal temperature rise is reported for the integrated GPS, cellular and dual-band WiFi elements.
