MAKO 5G Dome antenna

The Panorama Antennas MAKO 5G Dome is a high-performance 4×4 MiMo antenna designed for 5G and LTE connectivity. It supports optional GPS/GNSS and up to 6×6 MiMo for Wi-Fi, making it suitable for mobile routers and vehicle installations requiring robust multi-band reception.

Capacity and headroom

Four isolated elements cover 617-960 MHz and 1710-6000 MHz for cellular and LTE bands, while up to six dual-band elements handle 2.4 GHz and 5.0/7.2 GHz Wi-Fi. An optional GPS/GNSS element includes an integrated 26 dB gain LNA. The LTE elements can serve a single 4×4 MiMo radio or two separate 2×2 MiMo radios for dual-SIM failover, though coverage must be verified when only two elements are active per SIM.

Build integration

No metallic ground plane is required, so the dome maintains performance on non-metallic surfaces such as fibreglass or plastic roofs. The assembly combines up to 11 elements in a single housing, reducing the number of separate antennas needed. Correct connection of the LTE leads is essential to match the router's radio configuration and achieve the intended MiMo or failover operation.

Questions about this item

Will the MAKO 5G Dome's four LTE elements covering 617-960/1710-6000MHz work with my older 2×2 MiMo router?

Yes, the four LTE elements can be used as two pairs of 2×2 MiMo for a router with two SIMs in failover mode, though coverage should be verified since only two antennas serve a single active SIM.

How can I confirm the optional GPS/GNSS antenna with its integrated 26dB gain LNA is functioning after installation?

Check your router or connected device for a stable GPS fix and improved positioning accuracy, which the high-quality filtering and 26dB LNA are designed to deliver when the GPS element is fitted.

Does the LGMTM4B6602458 include the 2.4/5.0/7.2GHz WiFi elements and cables, or must they be purchased separately?

The MAKO 5G Dome range offers up to 11 elements including optional 2×2, 3×3, 4×4 or 6×6 WiFi MiMo; the exact element count and cables supplied depend on the specific variant ordered.
