Precise Temperature Control for Tea & Coffee

The PARIS RHÔNE EK023 is a 1.7 litre electric kettle with six preset temperatures ranging from 160°F to 212°F. It suits tea drinkers and coffee enthusiasts who need exact heat for delicate green tea, white tea, oolong or French press coffee. The built-in British Strix thermostat maintains the chosen temperature for 30 minutes.

Stainless Steel Build and 360° Swivel Base

The kettle body uses food-grade 304 stainless steel and BPA-free materials to prevent unwanted odours. A 360-degree swivel base allows cord-free lifting from any angle, while integrated cable storage keeps the countertop tidy. A clear water gauge shows the fill level at a glance.

1500W Rapid Heating for 1.7L Capacity

The 1500 watt element brings a full 1.7 litre load to a boil quickly, serving up to six cups in one cycle. Buyers who regularly need larger volumes or faster repeat boils may find the single 1.7 litre capacity limiting.

Questions about this item

Will the 304 stainless-steel interior need descaling, and how often?

Yes — mineral build-up forms on the 304 stainless steel over time; descale with vinegar or citric acid every 1–3 months depending on water hardness.

What stops the 1500 W element from running continuously during a long keep-warm session?

The Strix thermostat cycles the 1500 W element on and off to hold the chosen preset for up to 30 minutes, preventing continuous full-power draw.

How hot does the 360-degree swivel base get after the kettle holds water at 212 °F for the full 30-minute keep-warm cycle?

The base stays near room temperature because the heating element is inside the kettle body, not in the 360-degree swivel base.
