What this antenna does

The Parsec Omnitron PRO4A4L is a compact four-in-one 4x4 MIMO LTE external antenna. It covers all LTE bands from 617 to 6000 MHz with high efficiency. The unit is designed for indoor office mounting on sheetrock walls where better performance than standard screw-on antennas is needed. It also carries an IP54 ingress protection rating for outdoor use.

Check your router and mounting surface

Verify that your router or gateway accepts four separate antenna leads with SMA connectors. Confirm you have a suitable sheetrock wall or flat surface for the included adhesive mount. If you plan to install the unit on a mast, ensure the pole diameter falls between 1.25 and 2.25 inches for the optional pole mount kit. The cable run from the antenna to the equipment should be measured before ordering.

Build quality and daily implications

The IP54 rating means the housing resists dust ingress and water splashes, so it can stay mounted on an exterior wall or pole year-round. The compact, low-profile shape blends into an office ceiling or wall without protruding far. Four integrated cables terminate in standard SMA plugs, removing the need for extra pigtails and keeping the installation tidy. The adhesive backing holds securely on painted sheetrock but allows removal if relocation is required.

Questions about this item

Does the PRO4A4L15W include mounting hardware or do I need to buy a pole mount kit separately?

The antenna is optimized for direct wall attachment in an office. An optional pole mount kit for masts from 1.25 to 2.25 inch diameter is sold separately.

Should I choose this model for indoor-only use or does the IP54 rating make it suitable for outdoor mounting as well?

The IP54 ingress protection rating means the antenna may also be mounted outdoors, so it works for both indoor and outdoor installations.

What does the 4x4 MIMO LTE specification mean for real-world signal performance across the 617 to 6000 MHz range?

Four LTE elements provide 4x4 MIMO diversity across all LTE bands from 617 to 6000 MHz, giving higher throughput and more reliable connectivity than single or dual element antennas.
