Industrial Panel PC

The Partaker A2-PA-121TPC-CE5B(I54) is a 12.1 inch all-in-one computer built for industrial environments. It integrates an Intel Core i5 4th Gen processor running at 1.60GHz with Intel HD Graphics 4400, 8GB of DDR3 memory, a 256GB SSD and a 1TB HDD. The IP65-rated front panel and high-temperature five-wire resistive touchscreen suit factory floors, automation cabinets and embedded kiosks where dust and moisture are present.

Fanless Thermal Design

An aluminium alloy chassis dissipates heat without moving parts, so the system runs silently in normal operation. The fanless construction eliminates bearing wear and reduces the ingress path for contaminants. Power is supplied through a 12V DC input fed by a 100-240V AC adapter, supporting automatic power-on after a power failure.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Operating temperature is rated 0 to 50°C when running from the SSD and 0 to 40°C with the mechanical HDD active. The watchdog timer offers a 255-level timeout to recover from software stalls during long shifts. With no fan to throttle, performance remains consistent as long as the enclosure ambient stays within the specified range.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the 12.1" unit in a panel cut-out, and which step is often missed?

Cut an opening of 301 x 229 mm, insert the unit from the front, and secure it with the supplied embedded buckle kits; the step often missed is fitting all four buckles evenly so the IP65 front seal seats correctly.

Which components will need replacement first during long-term operation?

The resistive touch screen is rated for 200 million touches and the LED backlight for 30000 hours minimum; the 2.5" SATA HDD has moving parts and typically wears out before the mSATA SSD or fanless cooling.

What thermal limit appears first when the system runs continuously at full load?

With the HDD installed the operating ceiling is 40 °C; with the SSD it rises to 50 °C, so the HDD temperature rating is the first constraint under sustained use.
