Industrial All-in-One with IP65 Front Panel

This 15-inch panel PC combines an Intel Core i7-6500U processor with 16GB of DDR3L memory and a 256GB SSD in a sealed aluminium chassis. The front panel meets IP65 protection so dust and water jets cannot reach the electronics. It ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and is aimed at factory-floor operators, kiosk integrators and SCADA engineers who need a compact, ready-to-run Windows station.

Fanless Build with Embedded Mounting

Passive cooling removes moving parts, so the unit runs silently and resists vibration in continuous 24/7 shifts. A 12V DC input accepts 100-240V AC via the supplied adapter, while the opening-hole dimensions of 348 by 272mm let the device sit flush in a cabinet cut-out. Two LAN ports, two COM ports, HDMI, VGA and four USB sockets connect PLCs, barcode scanners and secondary displays without extra adapters. Expansion is handled by a Mini PCIe slot with a SIM holder for cellular or Wi-Fi modules.

Sustained Operation up to 50°C

The aluminium alloy body spreads heat across the full 54mm depth, keeping the CPU within spec during long production runs at ambient temperatures up to 50°C. The five-wire resistive touchscreen remains accurate after 35 million touches and works with gloved hands in humid conditions. Brightness holds at 350 cd/m² with a 1000:1 contrast ratio across 80-degree horizontal and 60-degree vertical viewing angles. The watchdog timer can restart the system automatically after a freeze, reducing downtime on unattended lines.

Questions about this item

Does the fanless aluminum cooling handle sustained 100 % CPU load without throttling?

The i7-6500U runs up to 3.10 GHz inside a sealed IP65 chassis cooled only by its aluminum alloy body; prolonged full-load operation will hit the thermal ceiling of the passive design.

What is the acoustic and thermal profile during 24/7 operation?

Zero fan noise, but the aluminium housing becomes the heatsink so surface temperature rises with continuous load; operating range is 0–50 °C with the fitted SSD.

Which external power source is required for the 12 V DC input?

A 100–240 V AC to 12 V DC adapter is included in the packing list; the unit cannot run from PoE or bare 12 V battery without that supply.
