Industrial 17-Inch All-in-One PC

This 17-inch industrial all-in-one PC combines an Intel Core i3 4th Gen processor with 4GB DDR3 memory and a 64GB SSD in a fanless aluminium chassis. The IP65-rated front panel and high-temperature five-wire resistive touchscreen suit harsh factory or outdoor kiosk environments. It ships with Windows 10 Pro installed and supports Linux Ubuntu for flexible deployment.

Interface Limits and Expansion

The unit provides DC 12V power input, HDMI, VGA, two USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, LAN, audio in/out and two COM ports for legacy industrial equipment. A full-size Mini PCIe slot with SIM holder allows 4G or Wi-Fi expansion, while internal mSATA and 2.5-inch SATA bays support additional storage. The fanless design limits sustained thermal headroom to the stated operating range.

Decisive Specification

The five-wire resistive touchscreen operates reliably up to 50°C with an SSD and survives 200 million touch cycles, making it the key criterion for buyers who need glove-compatible input in high-temperature settings. Buyers who require projected-capacitive multi-touch or brighter than 250 cd/m² panels should consider alternative display technologies.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 4 GB DDR3 RAM and 64 GB mSATA SSD version or add more memory and storage later?

The unit ships with 4 GB DDR3L at 1333/1600 MHz and a 64 GB mSATA SSD; one SODIMM slot supports up to 8 GB total and a 2.5" SATA bay is available for an extra SSD or HDD.

What does the 1.90 GHz Core i3 4th Gen actually deliver in this fanless chassis?

The dual-core processor runs at 1.90 GHz with Intel HD Graphics 4400; the aluminium fanless design dissipates heat passively so sustained performance stays within the 0 – 50 °C operating range when an SSD is fitted.

Which I/O ports are on the panel and what do they limit in practice?

I/O includes DC 12 V, HDMI, VGA, two USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, LAN, audio in/out, two COM ports and a Mini PCIe slot with SIM; USB 3.0 caps at 5 Gbps, HDMI and VGA drive external displays, and the Mini PCIe slot adds Wi-Fi or 4G.
