Industrial Panel PC for Embedded Control

This 17-inch all-in-one computer combines an Intel Core i5 4th Gen processor at 1.60GHz with 8GB DDR3L memory and dual storage of 256GB SSD plus 1TB HDD. The IP65-rated front panel and five-wire resistive touchscreen are built for factory floors, kiosks and machine interfaces where dust, moisture and gloved operation are routine. Fanless aluminium cooling and a wide DC power range suit cabinet or VESA 75 mounting without extra ventilation.

Sustained Load Behaviour in Fanless Chassis

Passive cooling keeps the system silent but ties maximum performance to the 0–50°C operating window with SSD or 0–40°C when the mechanical hard drive is active. Under continuous load the CPU will throttle before exceeding thermal limits, so throughput stays stable rather than peaking briefly. The watchdog timer can restart the unit automatically after a freeze, reducing downtime in unattended installations.

IP65 Front Panel and Resistive Touch Decision

The single specification that determines fit is the IP65-sealed front with high-temperature five-wire resistive touch rated for 200 million actuations. Buyers who need projected-capacitive multi-touch, higher brightness than 250 cd/m² or an operating range beyond 50°C should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the fanless aluminium housing keep the Core i5 cool during continuous 24/7 operation?

The system uses a fanless aluminium alloy chassis rated for 0–50 °C with the SSD installed and 0–40 °C when the 1 TB HDD is active, so it stays within thermal limits during all-day use.

What must I provide to power the unit and mount it in a panel?

You need a 100–240 V AC source for the included 12 V DC adapter and a cut-out of 380 × 315 mm for the embedded buckle kits that come in the box.

Can I add a Mini PCIe Wi-Fi or 4G card without removing the existing SSD or HDD?

Yes, a full-size Mini PCIe slot with a SIM socket is available separately from the mSATA SSD and 2.5″ SATA drive bays, so expansion does not displace storage.
