Compact fanless mini PC

The Partaker B1 is a barebone mini PC built around an Intel Core i5-4200U processor with 8 GB of DDR3L memory and a 128 GB SSD. Its fanless aluminium chassis measures 197 x 197 x 37 mm and operates silently in a 0 to 70 °C range. The unit includes Windows 11 Pro and supports dual-display output via VGA and HDMI.

Suited for silent fixed roles

This system suits offices, digital-signage players or home-theatre setups that need a quiet, always-on device with dual-screen capability and gigabit networking. It is not for buyers who want more storage bays than the single 2.5-inch bay and mSATA slot provide, nor for workloads that demand active cooling or a higher thermal envelope than the 15 W TDP allows.

Capacity and headroom

The installed 128 GB SSD handles the OS and essential apps, while the spare 2.5-inch bay and mSATA slot give room for a second drive. Memory can be expanded to 16 GB across two SO-DIMM slots. The 15 W processor and passive cooling cap sustained compute performance, so heavy multi-threaded tasks will throttle.

Questions about this item

What 2.5-inch drive can I add alongside the pre-installed 128 GB mSATA SSD?

The chassis accepts one 2.5-inch SSD or HDD in addition to the mSATA slot, giving you a second storage volume without removing the original drive.

Will my legacy VGA monitor work with the HDMI port at the same time?

Yes, the B1 supports dual-screen output — VGA and HDMI can run simultaneously for extended or mirrored desktops.

How do I confirm the fanless cooling is keeping the i5-4200U within its 15 W TDP under load?

Monitor CPU package power in HWInfo or similar; sustained readings at or below 15 W mean the passive heatsink is handling the thermal design power as intended.
