Ready-to-run mini PC with i5-1235U

This Partaker B1 barebone arrives with an Intel Core i5-1235U processor, 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB SSD already installed. Windows 11 Pro is pre-loaded so the system boots straight to a working desktop. The fanless aluminium chassis runs silently in offices, digital-signage players or home labs.

Fanless thermal envelope

Passive cooling limits sustained output to the processor's 15 W base power, so long compile jobs or heavy encoding will throttle. The HDMI 1.4 port drives 4 K at 4096 x 2304 @ 24 Hz; higher refresh rates are not supported. Dual-display works through HDMI and VGA simultaneously, but the VGA output caps at lower resolutions.

Expansion and power checks

Verify that the 19 V 5 A DC adapter matches your local mains plug before ordering. Two SODIMM slots accept DDR4-2400 modules up to 64 GB total if you need more memory. Storage can be expanded via one mSATA, one M.2 2280 SATA or NVME slot and one 2.5-inch SATA bay. The optional VESA mount requires a separate bracket.

Questions about this item

Should I add a second SODIMM or a 2.5-inch SATA drive first?

The board has two SODIMM slots supporting up to 64 GB of DDR4-2400 and one 2.5-inch SATA bay; add RAM first if you multitask heavily, add the SATA drive first if you need more bulk storage.

What does the 4.40 GHz boost clock deliver in daily use?

The Intel Core i5-1235U can reach 4.40 GHz on short bursts, so office apps and web browsing feel snappy, while the 15 W TDP keeps the fanless chassis cool during sustained loads.

Which display standard does the HDMI 1.4 port limit me to?

HDMI 1.4 caps output at 4096 x 2304 @ 24 Hz, so 4K video plays smoothly but high-refresh gaming or 60 Hz desktop work requires the VGA port or a lower resolution.
