Ready-to-run mini PC

The Partaker B14 arrives with Windows 11 Pro installed on a 512 GB NVME drive and 16 GB of DDR5 memory already fitted. An Intel Core i5-12450H with eight cores and twelve threads powers everyday office work, media playback and light gaming. It suits buyers who want a compact desktop that works straight from the box.

Expansion headroom

Two DDR5 slots accept up to 64 GB total, while a PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 slot and a 2.5-inch bay allow extra fast or bulk storage. Dual LAN ports include one 2.5G connection, and WiFi6E with BT 5.3 handles modern wireless. USB4.0 on the front Type-C adds single-cable video output.

Triple-display productivity

Intel Iris Xe graphics drives three screens simultaneously via HDMI, DP and the USB-C port for immersive 4K and 8K visual workflows. The metal chassis includes a smart fan for quiet cooling and VESA mounting for behind-monitor placement. Buyers needing discrete GPU power or more than 64 GB RAM should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 16 GB DDR5 memory need to be replaced to reach the 64 GB maximum?

The unit has two DDR5 slots supporting up to 64 GB total; the installed 16 GB can stay and you can add another module, or replace both with 32 GB sticks.

What limits sustained performance first — the 4.4 GHz turbo or the smart fan?

The smart fan manages thermals so the 8-core 12-thread CPU can hold its 4.4 GHz turbo under load; thermal throttling only appears if the fan cannot dissipate heat fast enough.

How loud and hot does the built-in smart fan get when the mini PC runs all day?

The smart fan ramps up only when temperatures rise, keeping the chassis warm but not hot, and stays quiet during typical office workloads.
