Partners Brand THT116 Ribbon Pack

The Partners Brand THT116 thermal transfer ribbon pack contains twelve rolls of black ribbon designed for compatible thermal transfer printers. Each roll measures 6.50 inches wide and 984 feet long, supplying a high-volume consumable for continuous label or barcode production. Offices, warehouses and light-industrial users handling large daily print runs will find the bulk quantity practical. The ribbons are new and ready for immediate use.

Replacing Wax Ribbons on High-Volume Printers

This pack replaces standard wax ribbons when print density or durability requirements increase beyond what lighter coatings provide. The jump is worth it when labels must resist smudging, abrasion or moderate chemical exposure during shipping or storage. Buyers who only need occasional low-density receipt printing will not benefit from the added cost. The bulk twelve-roll format also reduces reorder frequency for steady workflows.

Installing Rolls in Compatible Zebra Printers

Installation follows the normal spindle-load procedure for supported Zebra thermal transfer models; no tools are required beyond opening the print head latch. What usually goes wrong is inserting the ribbon with the coated side facing the wrong direction, which produces blank labels and wastes length. Verifying the unwind direction against the printer diagram before closing the latch prevents the error. Ensure the core seats fully on both spindles to avoid slippage.

Questions about this item

What printer width does the 6.50 inch ribbon suit?

The ribbon is 6.50 inches wide, so it fits printers that accept a 6.50 inch media width.

How is the roll loaded and what step is often missed?

Place the roll on the supply spindle, thread the leader under the printhead and onto the take-up core, then close the printhead latch — forgetting to latch it causes wrinkles.

When will the 984 foot roll need replacing in a twelve pack?

Each roll yields 984 feet of printing; replace a roll when the low-ribbon sensor triggers or print density fades.
