L5-30P Ground Monitoring Plug

The Pass & Seymour L530PGCM is a 30 A ground continuity monitoring plug rated for 125V AC single-phase service. Its three-blade L5-30P configuration suits equipment that requires verified grounding before power is applied.

Sustained load behaviour

The nylon housing provides chemical and impact resistance while meeting federal specification grade requirements. Screw-terminal wire connections accept cables from .385 in to .69 in diameter for secure, repeatable terminations under continuous 30 A operation.

Installation checks

Verify that the supply circuit delivers 125V AC and is protected by a 30 A breaker or fuse. Confirm the mating receptacle is an L5-30R and that the cable outer diameter falls within the .385 in to .69 in range for proper strain relief.

Accepts cables from 0.385 in to 0.69 in outer diameter and uses screw-terminal connections that can be tightened with a standard screwdriver.

Will the L530PGCM work with my existing L5-30R receptacle and older 125 V equipment?

Yes, the NEMA L5-30P blades match any standard L5-30R outlet and the 125 V AC rating suits legacy single-phase gear.
