Dual USB-A and USB-C flash drive

The Patriot TAB T560 provides 256GB of portable storage with both a Type-A and a Type-C connector on a single 360-degree swivel body. USB 3.2 Gen 1 delivers sequential read speeds up to 120 MB/s for moving 4K video, photos and large documents. The zinc-alloy casing weighs 6.26 grams and fits on a key ring or in a coin pocket. It works driver-free on Windows 7 through 11, Linux 2.4+ and macOS 10.6+.

For multi-device users without adapters

This drive suits anyone who moves files between phones, tablets and laptops that have mixed USB ports and wants one cap-less stick that plugs directly into each. It is not for buyers who need sustained write throughput for running applications or operating systems directly from the stick. It is also not for users who require hardware encryption or ruggedised water and dust ratings.

120 MB/s sequential read speed

The headline read figure of 120 MB/s determines whether the drive can ingest large media libraries quickly enough for your workflow. If your daily transfers involve multi-gigabyte video projects and you need them copied in seconds rather than minutes, verify that this ceiling meets the target before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Will the USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A connector on the T560 work with my older laptop that only has USB 2.0 ports?

Yes, the Type-A connector is backward compatible with USB 2.0 ports, though transfer speeds will be limited to the older port's maximum rate.

How can I verify the T560 is delivering its rated 120 MB/s read speed after I plug it in?

Copy a large file to the drive and check the transfer rate in your OS file manager, or run a benchmark tool like CrystalDiskMark to measure sequential read performance.

Does the T560 package include any cables or adapters, or is the dual Type-A and Type-C connector the only connection hardware?

The drive has both connectors built into its swivel body, so no separate cables or adapters are included or required for either USB Type-A or Type-C ports.
