Warm-white COB strip for ambient lighting

This 6.56 ft USB-powered LED strip uses COB technology with 320 LEDs per metre, totalling 640 diodes, to produce a continuous 3000 K warm-white line at 1200 lumens. It runs on 8 watts from any 5 V 2 A USB-A port such as a TV, computer or power bank and is rated for indoor use only with an IP30 rating.

Button dimmer with memory and 2.6 ft power lead

The inline controller provides 10 brightness levels and remembers the last setting after power loss. A 2.6 ft USB cable connects the strip to the power source, and strong 3M adhesive on the flexible plastic backing allows direct mounting under cabinets, shelves or behind displays without extra hardware.

Suits permanent accent lighting in dry rooms

Ideal for homeowners wanting a single continuous warm-white run under kitchen cabinets, along bookshelves or as TV bias lighting where a USB port is already available. Not suited for buyers who need waterproof outdoor runs, colour-changing effects, tunable white temperatures or lengths beyond 6.56 ft without joining multiple strips.

Questions about this item

Does the 3M adhesive on the 6.56ft COB strip need replacement if it loses grip over time?

The strip uses 3M adhesive for mounting; if the bond weakens you can re-secure it with additional double-sided tape or mounting clips — the LED module itself is rated for 65,000 hours and does not require replacement.

Will the 8-watt, 5-volt USB-A power limit cause the 320 LEDs per metre strip to dim or flicker during extended use?

The strip draws 8 watts and requires a USB-A port that delivers at least 5 V / 2 A; if the port cannot sustain that current the lights will flicker or turn off, so a compliant power source prevents any drop in output.

How much heat does the 1200-lumen COB strip produce when running all day, and is the 2.6 ft power cable affected?

COB LEDs run cooler than traditional SMD strips; the plastic housing stays warm but not hot during continuous operation, and the 2.6 ft USB cable remains at safe temperatures because the total draw is only 8 watts at 5 volts.
