Bright Task Lighting

The PAUTIX VES4497 is a 6.56ft COB LED strip that delivers 1200lm of 6000K daylight white light at 9.5W. Its 640 LEDs provide even illumination suited for under-cabinet, shelving, or TV backlighting where accurate colour rendering matters.

USB Power Limits

The strip requires a 5V USB source capable of at least 2A output; lower amperage causes flicker or shutdown. A 2.6ft power cable connects the in-line dimmer to the USB plug, so the host device must be within that reach or an extension used.

Fixed Colour Alternative

This model replaces single-colour non-dimmable strips or puck lights that lack brightness control. The jump is worth it when you need adjustable 5-level dimming with memory recall and a 360° RF remote, but not for buyers who want tunable white or RGB colour changing.

Questions about this item

Which length should I pick for my project?

The strip measures 6.56ft (2m) and contains 640 LEDs at 320 LEDs per metre, giving 1200lm total output.

What does 1200lm mean on my kitchen counter?

At 6000K daylight white with CRI90+, the 1200lm output delivers bright, even illumination across the full 6.56ft run for clear task lighting.

What does the 5V USB power requirement limit in practice?

The strip needs a 5V/2A (10W) USB source; lower-output ports will cause flickering or shutdown, so use a TV, computer or charger rated at 2A or above.
