The Peakworks V865192 Cable Grab is a detachable sliding device for vertical fall protection on 3/8" galvanized steel cable. It moves freely up or down hands-free while the worker climbs a ladder or structure. When upward force is removed, dual independent cams automatically lock onto the cable at any point to arrest a fall. The system includes a 2" double-locking carabiner for attachment to a full-body harness.

Hands-free glide and dual-cam lock

The device glides along the cable without manual operation, allowing the climber to maintain three points of contact on the ladder. Its dual independent cams engage immediately when a fall occurs and remain locked until the worker steps back onto the ladder or is rescued. The included double-locking carabiner provides a secure connection point to the harness, simplifying the installation of a complete personal fall arrest system.

Rated for 130-310 lbs user weight

This Cable Grab is rated for a user capacity range of 130 to 310 lbs, covering a broad spectrum of worker sizes with tools. It is intended specifically for use on 3/8"-diameter solid core cable systems and cannot be used on wire rope, synthetic rope or cables of different diameters. Workers outside the stated weight range or those needing horizontal lifeline compatibility must select alternative fall protection equipment.
