Compostable Cover for iPhone XR

The Pela 11104 is a soft back cover made for the iPhone XR. It uses a compostable plastic material that breaks down under the right conditions. Buyers who want a lower-impact accessory for daily protection will find it fits the handset precisely.

Not water resistant and no thermal load

The cover is not water resistant, so it does not seal the phone against liquids. It adds no active cooling, draws no power and makes no noise because it has no electronic parts. The packaging is also 100% biodegradable.

Shock-resistant compostable plastic decides fit

The single specification that decides suitability is the 100% compostable plastic with shock-resistant properties. If you need a case that survives immersion or includes a built-in battery, this cover cannot meet that need.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Pela 11104 case on my iPhone XR and which step do people often get wrong?

Align the case with the iPhone XR ports and buttons, then press firmly around the edges until it snaps securely; the step people miss is checking that all four corners click fully into place.

What maintenance or replacement will the Pela 11104 compostable case need over time?

The 100% compostable material is designed to break down in composting conditions, so the case itself will eventually need replacement rather than ongoing maintenance.

What limit appears first on the Pela 11104 case during sustained daily use?

The compostable plastic shows wear such as surface scratches or edge thinning before the shock-resistant properties diminish, signalling it is time for a new cover.
