Mobile Workflow System

The Pelican 1560 Studio Case is a high-capacity mobile workflow system built for photographers and cinematographers who demand maximum protection for sensitive production equipment. Its next-generation HPXp polymer construction delivers a rugged, watertight and dustproof shield rated to IP67. This case is designed for professionals moving gear through challenging environments where impact and water exposure are real risks.

Ready to Deploy

The case arrives with a fully configurable padded divider system and a lid-mounted GridPoint Panel with ModPak Utility Pouches already installed, so organisation begins immediately. Upgraded push-button latches with positive engagement and reinforced padlock protectors secure the contents without tools. No assembly is required, though the modular interior may need rearrangement to fit unusually shaped rigs or oversized accessories.

Protection Boundaries

The IP67 seal protects against dust ingress and temporary immersion, but it is not rated for continuous submersion or high-pressure water jets. The HPXp polymer shell resists crushing and severe impacts, yet extreme point loads or drops beyond the case's structural limits can still transfer shock to the contents. Buyers who need fire resistance, chemical inertness or certified transport compliance for hazardous materials should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

The case ships with a padded divider set, lid-mounted GridPoint Panel, ModPak Utility Pouches and ModLight Pivot lighting; extra ModPak pouches or specialised inserts are sold separately.

Should I choose the standard 1560 or the Studio version for a mobile video workflow?

The Studio version adds the GridPoint Panel, ModPak pouches and ModLight Pivot lighting, making it the better fit for an organised mobile video workflow.
