Modular Travel Pouch

The Pelican ModPak Storage Pouch Large Sand is a soft luggage accessory built from 500D Cordura fabric with YKK zippers. It adds a secure, organised compartment for clothing, electronics or tools inside a larger bag or as a standalone carry. External attachment points let it clip onto compatible Aegis backpacks and duffels for a customised load-out.

Travellers Who Want Flexible Organisation

This pouch suits travellers who need a removable, configurable pocket that can move between bags or be used on its own. It is less useful for buyers who want a fully waterproof dry sack, a rigid protective case or a complete backpack system with integrated straps and frame.

500D Cordura Construction

The pouch uses 500-denier Cordura fabric paired with YKK zippers, giving abrasion resistance and reliable closure for repeated travel use. This material choice determines how well the pouch withstands rough handling and whether it meets your durability expectations.

Questions about this item

Which size of the ModPak Storage Pouch should I choose for my Aegis gear?

The Large version is one of two sizes offered; pick it when you need more internal volume for bulkier essentials, and the smaller size when packing lighter.

What does the 500D Cordura fabric mean for daily travel use?

500D Cordura is a high-tenacity nylon that resists abrasion and tearing, so the pouch withstands rough handling inside backpacks or duffels without adding significant weight.

How do the external attachment points work with Aegis backpacks and duffels?

The pouch has dedicated external attachment points designed to integrate directly with the modular loops on Aegis backpacks and duffels for a secure, customizable carry setup.
