The Pelican 1150 is a watertight, crushproof and dustproof hard case built from ultra high impact structural copolymer. It measures 8.18" Height x 5.68" Width x 3.62" Depth externally and includes a 1.7 lb polyurethane Pick 'N' Pluck foam set with convoluted lid foam for custom organisation. Stainless steel hardware and an automatic pressure equalisation valve complete the package.

Installation uses Pick 'N' Pluck foam

The included foam allows you to pluck out pre-scored cubes to fit cameras, lenses or small electronics without tools. Convoluted lid foam holds items in place when the case is closed. The O-ring seal and ABS latches engage with firm pressure; misaligned foam can prevent a proper seal, so check the perimeter before latching.

Limits of IP-67 protection

The case is tested to IP-67, meaning it withstands temporary immersion in water and full dust ingress protection. The automatic purge valve equalises pressure after altitude changes but does not allow air exchange while submerged. It is not rated for continuous underwater use or extreme impact beyond the crushproof design.
