Extra vertical space for gear

The iM2275 Storm Case offers a deeper lid that adds vertical room for equipment such as multiple 4K cameras, diagnostic circuit readers, or a drone with accessories. Its lightweight HPX resin shell is watertight, crushproof, and dustproof. Two press-and-pull latches secure the lid, while a Vortex valve equalises pressure during altitude changes.

Simple setup with latch and valve

Press the two latches to open the case; pull them to lock it shut. The soft-grip handle makes one-handed carry easy. Because the case ships with no foam, you must supply your own interior organisation. The Vortex valve operates automatically, so no manual adjustment is needed when flying or driving to elevation.

Limits of the watertight seal

The case is rated watertight, crushproof, and dustproof, but the seal relies on the latches being fully engaged and the valve membrane remaining intact. Heavy impact can deform the resin enough to compromise the gasket. The two padlockable hasps accept standard shackles, yet the hasp holes are not reinforced against determined cutting.
