Extra-large protective ruck case

The Pelican R60 Personal Utility Ruck Case in Extra Large Black is a rugged camera case built to shield valuable gear from harsh conditions. Its ABS outer shell resists abrasion and impact, while rubberized bumpers add drop protection. An IP68 rating confirms it is waterproof to a depth of 2 meters for up to 30 minutes and sealed against dust and snow.

Photographers needing modular organisation

The case suits photographers and outdoor professionals who want configurable internal layouts using the rigid divider tray and snap-in lid organizer. MOLLE-style loops with self-securing straps allow external attachment of pouches or tools. Buyers who need a compact everyday bag or a dedicated laptop compartment should consider alternatives.

Integrates into a field kit

The dual pivot hinge latch provides secure, repeatable closure when packing the case into a vehicle or larger pack. Internal dividers free up space by keeping cameras, lenses and accessories separated without extra pouches. External MOLLE loops let the case attach to compatible backpacks or belts for hands-free carry.

Questions about this item

What gear must I already own to use the MOLLE loop system and self-securing closure straps?

You need MOLLE-compatible pouches or accessories that attach to the loop panel; the case itself provides the mounting surface and straps.

Will my existing rigid divider tray from an older Pelican case fit inside this R60 Extra Large?

The R60 includes its own rigid divider tray; older trays are not guaranteed to match the interior dimensions of this extra-large model.

How can I verify the IP68 rating is working after I close the dual pivot hinge latch?

Submerge the closed case in water up to two metres for thirty minutes; if no water enters, the seal and latch are functioning as rated.
