Built for hard use

The Pelican Vault V730 is a crushproof hard case moulded from high-impact polymer and sealed against moisture and dust. It is aimed at photographers, videographers and field technicians who need affordable rugged protection for tripods, camera rigs, electronics or instruments during transport and long-term storage.

Fits a full-size tripod

Interior dimensions of 44.00 by 16.00 by 6.25 inches accept a full-length tripod with head attached, leaving room for accessories. Standard-density foam can be cut to shape so each item locks in place. Heavy-duty handles and push-button latches make loading simple, while stainless-steel lock hasps allow padlocks for security without extra hardware.

Stays sealed under sustained abuse

The weather-resistant seal keeps out moisture and dust through repeated loading cycles, temperature swings and rough handling. Crushproof polymer walls absorb impacts that would crack lesser cases, and the 22.07 lb weight with foam remains stable when stacked. Stainless-steel hasps resist corrosion during extended outdoor deployments.

Questions about this item

Will the 6.25-inch interior depth fit my tripod and head together?

The interior measures 44.00 x 16.00 x 6.25 inches, so a tripod and head must stay within that depth once the foam is cut.

Does the 22.07-pound weight make it awkward to carry all day?

At 22.07 lbs with foam installed, the heavy-duty handles are designed for two-handed carry over long distances.

Do I need to buy padlocks for the stainless steel lock hasps?

The case has stainless steel lock hasps ready for standard padlocks, which are not included.
