Connects 10/100 Ethernet to fiber over industrial temperatures from -40 to +75 degrees Celsius
The Perle 05090000 SFP transceiver connects 10/100Base-TX copper equipment to 100Base-FX fibre links. It is built for industrial sites such as traffic management, oil and gas pipelines and outdoor security cameras where standard commercial modules cannot survive.
The module operates from -40°C to +75°C (-40°F to +167°F) inside a rugged steel housing. This wide range lets the transceiver sit in unconditioned cabinets or pole-mounted enclosures without additional heating or cooling infrastructure.
The component maintains the fibre link across sustained temperature extremes rather than brief spikes. It supports long-distance connections for sensors, wireless access points and tracking devices that must stay online through weeks of freezing nights or scorching days.
