Festive Porcelain Dachshund Ornament

This handcrafted porcelain Christmas ornament features a watercolor illustration by artist Tamara Burnett of a dapple dachshund wearing reindeer antlers and a "Up To Snow Good" banner. Measuring approximately three inches in diameter, it is designed to hang on the supplied gold-colored thread. The piece is proudly made in the USA and serves as a decorative keepsake for the holiday season and year-round display.

Ideal for Dachshund Enthusiasts and Collectors

This ornament suits dog lovers seeking breed-specific holiday decor or fans of Tamara Burnett's artwork looking for a lightweight, flat porcelain decoration. It is not intended for buyers who want a three-dimensional plush toy, a durable unbreakable ornament for homes with young children or pets, or a personalized item featuring a specific pet's name or photo.

Three-Inch Diameter Porcelain Disc

The ornament is a flat porcelain disc approximately three inches in diameter and one-eighth of an inch thick. This slim profile and material determine how it hangs on a tree branch and how it must be stored to prevent chipping or breakage.

Questions about this item

How should I clean the porcelain surface if it gets dusty?

Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth; avoid water or cleaning chemicals that could damage the hand-painted watercolor artwork by Tamara Burnett.

Will the gold-coloured hanging thread support the ornament's weight on a typical tree branch?

Yes, the ornament weighs only a few ounces at roughly three inches in diameter and one-eighth inch thick, so the supplied gold thread is adequate for standard branches.

Does the porcelain become warm if left near Christmas tree lights for hours?

Porcelain does not generate heat; it will only reach the ambient temperature of the room and the lights, posing no additional warmth risk.
