Festive Greyhound Porcelain Ornament

This new porcelain ornament from Pet Gifts USA features a fawn brindle Greyhound wearing a Santa hat and a red banner reading "Dear Santa, Define Naughty". It is designed as a decorative hanging piece for Christmas trees or year-round display. The artwork showcases watercolor paintings by artist Tamara Burnett. It suits pet owners and collectors seeking breed-specific holiday decor.

Three-Inch Diameter Porcelain Disc

The ornament measures approximately three inches in diameter and is one-eighth of an inch thick. This specific size and material composition are the primary details determining fit on standard tree branches and suitability for lightweight display. The porcelain construction provides a rigid, non-flexible surface for the printed artwork. Buyers needing a shatterproof or larger keepsake should look elsewhere.

Lightweight Thread Hanging Loop

Installation consists of looping the supplied gold-coloured thread over a branch or hook; no tools or adhesives are required. The thin thread blends with metallic tree decorations but offers limited tensile strength for heavy garlands. The main risk is the porcelain shattering if the ornament is dropped during handling or knocked from the tree.

Questions about this item

How big is the ornament once it is on the tree?

The piece measures about three inches across and is roughly one eighth of an inch thick, so it sits flat against the branches without weighing them down.

What is the gold coloured thread and what weight will it hold?

A gold coloured thread is attached for hanging; it supports the light porcelain disc which is only about one eighth of an inch thick and three inches wide.

Will the flat back sit flush in a shadow box or against a wall?

Yes, the ornament is uniformly one eighth of an inch thick, so the rear surface lies flat against any vertical display.
