Tree Walker Coonhound Porcelain Ornament

This porcelain ornament features a Tree Walker Coonhound wearing reindeer antlers and a red banner reading "Up To Snow Good". It showcases watercolor artwork by artist Tamara Burnett. The piece measures approximately three inches in diameter and hangs from a gold-coloured thread. It is proudly made in the USA.

Artwork and Presentation

The bundled gold-coloured thread provides an immediate hanging solution without requiring a separate hook purchase. Tamara Burnett's watercolor painting transforms the decoration into a breed-specific keepsake rather than a generic holiday item. The design adds a personalised touch for owners of this specific hound breed.

Display Capacity and Limits

At roughly three inches wide, the ornament suits standard Christmas tree branches and modest display hooks comfortably. The one-eighth-inch porcelain thickness offers a substantial feel but requires careful handling to avoid chipping. It is not designed for outdoor exposure or rough play environments.

Questions about this item

Will the gold-colored thread eventually fray or need replacing?

The ornament hangs on a gold-colored thread; if the thread wears, it can be swapped for any decorative cord or hook.

Is the 1/8-inch porcelain thickness enough to resist cracking if the ornament is bumped while displayed year-round?

At roughly 1/8 inch thick, the porcelain is sturdy for normal hanging but can chip or crack if knocked against a hard surface.

Does the porcelain or the watercolor artwork fade or discolour when the ornament stays under tree lights all day?

The watercolor design is fired onto the porcelain, so normal indoor lighting — including tree lights — will not cause fading or heat damage.
