Holiday Porcelain Ornament

This Pet Gifts USA ornament features a watercolor design by artist Tamara Burnett showing two white doves on a snowy background with a red banner. Made from porcelain, it measures approximately three inches in diameter and one-eighth inch thick. A gold-colored thread is attached for hanging. The piece is proudly manufactured in the USA.

Display and Storage Needs

The ornament requires a sturdy branch or hook capable of supporting its porcelain weight. Its flat, rigid profile allows it to lie flush against a tree limb or sit upright on a decorative stand. When the season ends, the piece needs individual wrapping or a compartmentalised box to prevent chipping or cracking during storage.

Upgrade From Basic Ornaments

This ornament replaces mass-produced glass or plastic baubles with a handcrafted porcelain piece featuring licensed artwork. The jump is worthwhile for collectors who value artist-signed designs and domestic manufacturing over disposable decorations. It is not suited for homes where ornaments face rough handling by children or pets.

Questions about this item

How fragile is the 3-inch porcelain disc when handled daily?

The ornament is 3 inches in diameter and 1/8 inch thick porcelain, so it can chip or crack if dropped on a hard surface; handle it like a glass bauble.

Does the porcelain or gold thread degrade if the ornament stays on a warm tree lit all day?

Porcelain and the gold-colored hanging thread are stable at normal indoor temperatures; no heat-related degradation is expected from typical holiday lighting.

What hanging hardware is needed since the box only supplies a gold thread?

The included gold-colored thread loops directly over a branch or hook; no extra hardware is required unless you prefer an ornament hanger.
