Phifer 3040334 Insect Screening 30 x 50' Black

What this product is

Phifer UltraVue2 insect screening is a polyester mesh designed to cover windows and doors. It comes in a 30 by 50 foot roll with a black finish. The material uses Water Shed Technology to shed rain water and resist dirt buildup. Homeowners seeking clearer outward views and better airflow will find this product suitable.

Practical limits of the mesh

The screen provides superior openness for increased airflow and optical clarity. Its coating preserves viewing clarity by shedding water and resisting grime over time. Improved durability and toughness help the mesh withstand regular exposure to the elements. Buyers who need a tighter weave for smaller insects or heavier structural reinforcement should look elsewhere.

What this replaces

This screening replaces standard fiberglass or older polyester meshes that reduce visibility and trap moisture. The jump is worth it when you want a crisper view through windows and better ventilation without sacrificing strength. It upgrades existing frames where the old screen has sagged, torn or become cloudy. Builders who require a different width or a fire-rated material cannot use this roll.
