Product Identity

Phifer UltraVue2 insect screening comes in a 30 by 25 foot black roll designed for window and door openings. Homeowners seeking clearer outward views and better airflow will appreciate the improved visibility mesh.

Thermals Noise Power

The Water Shed Technology coating sheds rain water and resists dirt buildup to maintain optical clarity over time. This passive surface treatment requires no power and produces no noise during normal use.

Upgrade Context

The screen replaces standard fiberglass mesh where glare, restricted airflow or frequent cleaning are concerns. The jump is worth it when visibility and durability matter more than basic insect protection alone.

Questions about this item

How is the 30-by-25-foot UltraVue2 screen installed, and what step is most often missed?

Unroll the mesh across the frame opening, secure it with a spline roller into the groove, then trim the excess; the step most often missed is pulling the material tight enough before rolling so it does not sag later.

What maintenance will the Water Shed coating need over time?

Rinse the screen with a gentle hose spray and a soft brush once or twice a year to clear pollen and dust; the coating itself does not require re-application.

What limit appears first when the screen faces constant sun and wind?

The polyester yarns will gradually lose tensile strength from UV exposure, so the mesh tears before the Water Shed coating wears off.
